What is motionprompts?

A library of production-grade animation components, GSAP scroll effects, WebGL heroes, text reveals, menus, sliders, preloaders and full templates, written as prompts your AI coding agent can build from. Every one is built and tuned by the studio behind the site, then validated by actually running the prompt through an agent and comparing the result with the original.

Is there anything free?

Yes. A curated set of free items with the full prompt, no card needed. Copy one, see what your own agent does with it, and decide after that.

What is the difference between the plans?

Free is a curated set, open to everyone: some components, backgrounds, shaders and templates. Unlimited adds the rest of the prompt library, every 4K background and shader, the website templates, exports from the lab and a commercial license. Full Stack adds the source code of every component as a zip, live tuning in the component editor and, on the lifetime plan, the premium MCP key so your agent pulls prompts and source directly.

Yearly or lifetime?

Yearly is billed once a year and comes with fair use: 3 prompt copies a day (Full Stack yearly also 3 source downloads a day). Lifetime is a single payment, no renewal, no fair use on prompts or source, and the only way to get the premium MCP. If you ship more than a few sites a year, lifetime pays for itself on the second one.

What does fair use mean exactly?

On a yearly plan you can copy up to 3 paid prompts per day (and download up to 3 source zips per day on Full Stack). Free items never count. The counter resets every day at midnight UTC. It is there to keep the library from being bulk-copied, not to get in the way of building a site. Templates have their own limit on every paid plan, lifetime included: 3 downloads a day, so nobody takes the whole set at once.

Where do I paste the prompt?

Into whatever AI writes your code. Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, ChatGPT, Lovable, Bolt, v0, anywhere you can paste a long prompt. It rebuilds the component inside your project, GSAP effect and all, ready to adapt to your design.

Will it work with my stack?

Yes. A prompt is plain structured language, not code, so it is tied to no framework. It describes a standalone HTML, CSS and JS component by default; tell your agent to build it in Next.js, Astro, Vue, WordPress or whatever you already use. Full Stack ships the reference implementation if you would rather start from working code.

Which AI models work?

Any current coding model. The prompts are validated against the strongest models of the day, so a small or old model will usually keep the layout and lose the motion. That is the single most common cause of "it did not look like the demo".

What is the MCP, and do I need it?

It plugs the library directly into your agent: it searches components, plans a page and pulls a prompt in mid-build, so you stop copying by hand. It is included with Full Stack lifetime. You do not need it, everything works by copy and paste, it just removes the step.

Can I use it for client and commercial work?

Yes, on any paid plan: commercial license, no attribution, no limit on sites or products. Free items are for trying the product, not for shipping untouched.

Why is this worth it for freelancers and agencies?

One adapted component sold inside one client site covers the plan, usually several times over. After that it is margin, and you are shipping in hours what used to be a week of design and build.

How often do you add new items?

Regularly, designed and engineered in-house. Every paid plan includes everything that ships while it is active; on lifetime, that is forever.

What if a prompt does not produce what I expected?

Nine times in ten it is the model: an older or smaller one keeps the layout and drops the motion. Try it on a current model first. If it still looks wrong, write to contact@vanguardia.dev with the prompt and the model you used and we will work through it with you.

How does sign-in work?

There is no password. Enter your email and we send you a link that signs you in on this device for 90 days. Buying a plan creates your account automatically and emails you that same link.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your account page, and access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Purchases are not refunded mid-cycle: it is digital content and it unlocks in full the moment you buy. See the Terms for the exceptions required by law.

Can I upgrade from Unlimited to Full Stack later?

Yes, any time. On lifetime you only pay the difference between the two plans, from your account page. On yearly, buy Full Stack and the Unlimited subscription is no longer needed; cancel it from your account.
