Section 01 — no edge

Sections do not
have to meet in
a straight line.

Scroll slowly. Every incoming section clips itself with a different shape, and the amplitude of that shape is written by the scroll.

Section 02 — wave

Wave

A three-crest sine. The softest of the five, and the one that best carries long body copy underneath, because the edge points at nothing.

Section 03 — chevron

Chevron

One central vertex. It points down, so it pushes the reading on: good before a section that continues an argument, bad before a grid.

Section 04 — oblique

Oblique

Corner to corner. The most aggressive, and the worst behaved on a phone: at 390px the full slope eats half the screen.

Section 05 — torn

Torn

Twelve points at fixed pseudo-random heights. It reads as torn paper precisely because it is NOT random per load: if it changed, it would read as a bug.

Section 06 — arch

Arch

A single wide curve. The quietest of the five: the page breathes and nobody can quite say why.

End of the demo.
